JCon15 Planning Committee

SWE-EWS is hosting the 2015 Region J Conference in the Tri-Cities and we are looking for planning committee members. The committee will have one meeting per month (dinner provided) from January 2014 until the conference in the spring of 2015. Opportunities are available with various levels of time commitment in areas such as: fundraising, web design, keynote and session speakers, brochure design, career fair, hotel/logistics, technical tours, and registration. Region J Leadership Pipeline Mentoring Program

Are you interested in learning more about leadership positions within SWE? Region J is offering a mentoring pogram within SWE for those who would like to become a SWE leader. Please contact if you are interested.

The Eastern Washington Section of SWE is currently accepting applications for the AREVA Inc Scholarship. Applications must be submitted by February 3, 2014. Please visit the SWE- EWS website for more information

Participate in an informal discussion with students about your engineering career, planning for college, and what they can do to prepare in high school. The session will be held during the students’ lunch (11:15-11:50am) on Friday, January 24th, 2014. Please contact if you are interested in participating.
