SWE-EWS has a new events calendar on the Events Page. This calendar will show SWE events, as well as events put on by other technical societies in the region. When you view the calendar, the current month will display. However, you can scroll through previous or future months using the blue arrows. Also, for more information about each event, click on the event title. If
you don’t see all the information you need about a specific event, please
check back later, the calendar will be updated as soon as we know!

New SWE EWS Vision Story!
The EWS SWE officer board met last August 7th to discuss future planning for the section. One main deliverable that came out of the day-long meeting was a “vision story” for SWE EWS, a statement that describes what the section wants to “be”. Read it for yourself and see what you think!

ABJ Regional Conference
When: September 19-17
Where: Reno, Nevada
The registration site is up and running for the 2010 ABJ Regional meeting. Sign up now to prepare and discuss issues relevant to the upcoming National Conference, brainstorm mega issues, to discuss the ongoing work of the Society, and to network with the other west coast SWE members.
